The 2019 growing season started with high volumes of rain over winter and spring, with vine prunings finishing up in February because of the wet weather. This led to a staggered bud break from early March with the Hillside Reserve Chardonnay and finishing with Creekside Pinot Noir in early April. 2019 marked a cool and foggy growing season with good lignification from the long growing season, leading to rich full expressions of each varietal.
Native fermentation in 1.5 ton fermenters, hand punched down 25% Whole cluster. Aged in French oak barrels (30% new) for 10 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
