Winemaker, Nicole Pope's notes: 247 cases yielded from hand harvesting 3.6 tons at night. Native fermentation in 1.5 ton fermenters, hand punched down, 20% Whole cluster. Aged in French oak barrels (30% new) for 10 months. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Aromas of Cranberry, mint, crushed herbs, hint of orange rind, red cherry. Flavors of Red currant, minerality, licorice/fennel, oregano, hint eucalyptus. Color: Dark garnet.
All Stolo wines are estate grown, sustainably dry and hand farmed west of Paso Robles 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
