In The Vineyard Summer 2020

Summer  2020 Vineyard Update:

We are well into the second half of the 2020 season and we’re looking at a traditional start to harvest in the coming weeks.

So far this season the weather has been spectacular for wine grape growing. Cool nights and mild days without any major heat waves; just what the vines love. The mild weather allowed us to continue to farm most of the estate without irrigation this season. Our team continues to farm the vineyards without herbicides, part of our stewardship to the environment and health of the estate soil.

All of our day to day operations are executed by our Vineyard Manager, Azael, and his assistant, Jose. These men work tirelessly to maintain the quality of the vineyard every step of the way. I can undoubtedly say that we are all grateful to be able to continue to do what we love during this uncertain time.

Mother Nature has given us some pretty perfect conditions this year and soon we will be ready to harvest. The excitement on the property is palpable!
